Bernhard Schlink´s "Der Vorleser". A comparison between novel and film

The topic of this bachelor thesis is "Bernhard Schlink´s "Der Vorleser". A comparison between book and film." The first part is dedicated to the author and to the connections between his life and the elements in the novel. In the second part the main characters and their relationship are interpreted. The third part introduces an analysis from the perspective of differences and is afterwards compared with the literary model. The formal method, as the main instrument of the film analysis, is used to the precise interpretation of the elements in the film version. The attention is pointed at the accuracy of the film version and its adaptation of the main message of the novel
